I grew up in Aloha Oregon, a suburb west of Portland. My parents and I lived in Redding California for a couple years when I was a kid. I really liked Redding, so I moved back in 1989.
In 1983, I earned a degree in diesel mechanics from Portland Community College. After college, I worked for a Portland Caterpillar dealership, and then a Freightliner truck dealership. My passion soon turned back to cars and light trucks.
I have lived in the same house in Redding for 24 years. My beautiful wife Tammie and I were married in 2005. She has been my biggest support throughout this project. I would also like to mention here special thanks to my Mom and Dad, and Tammie’s Grandpa Steve for their financial help.
I began my career as a mechanic in the 70’s. It has been my sole profession all this time. I have been a mechanic for over 35 years, more than 20 of those working at new car dealers. The last seven years I have had my own business as a mechanic. I have never had to do any advertising. My business successfully grew just by word of mouth.
The idea of this product, the LubeWrench fluid dispenser, was a result of my profession as a mechanic experiencing the inconvenience and difficulty encountered when servicing drivetrain components from underneath motor vehicles.
